After your Booking

What luggage entitlement will I have?

You must calculate one medium Suitcase per person and one handbag. This is our company policy to avoid any responsibility, in case your suitcases won’t fit in a car. Of course, our driver will do everything, for your comfort and assist you in any way, but if your luggage is too much and do not fit in the car, it is your responsibility to find a way to transfer them at your destination.

For example, in case of 4 persons with large suitcases, and handbags, please select minivan category and not Taxi or black car..

Where will I meet the driver when I arrive?

Although you will receive detailed information attached to your voucher after your payment in advance, here are some useful information for you:

  • From Airports: Your driver will wait for you in the arrival hall inside of the airport, holding a sign with your name on it, as soon as you exit the baggage claim.
  • From Seaports: Your driver will wait on your left-hand side as soon as you exit the ship.
  • From Hotels: Your driver will ask you with your name at the front desk. You must wait for him inside your hotel.
  • From Houses / Appartments: At the front entrance. Notice that your driver must first ask you with your name.
What happens if I can’t locate my driver?

Your voucher has all the useful information for locating your driver in each case:

  • From Airports: Your driver will wait for you in the arrival hall inside of the airport, holding a sign with your name on it, as soon as you exit the baggage claim.
  • From Seaports: Your driver will wait on your left-hand side as soon as you exit the ship.
  • From Hotels: Your driver will ask you with your name at the front desk. You must wait for him inside your hotel.
  • From Houses / Appartments: At the front entrance. Notice that your driver must first ask you with your name.

My group size has changed, can I choose another vehicle?

Yes. You can select a different type of vehicle 24 hours before the scheduled date of your booking. Although you can’t make the change online, you can send us an e-mail by completing the contact form, or directly at info@minibusathens.gr, Mentioning your reservation number from your online voucher that you have received after your payment in advance.

Last minute changes of vehicles are not acceptable.

How long will the transfer take?

It depends on the transfer:

  1. From Athens International airport to Athens city center the duration of the transfer is 30-40 minutes.
  2. From Athens International airport to Piraeus Port, Lavrion & Rafina port the duration is about 45 minutes.
  3. For trips outside of Athens, the average time is  60-70 minutes/ 100 km.

Before you book

How do I make a booking on your website?

Very easy! Our booking engine will guide you through the process:

  1. Enter your pick up location and your destination.
  2. Enter your desired date and time.
  3. Select the preferred type of vehicle
  4. Add the extra services (if any) and your personal details.
  5. Make the payment in advance.

All set! You will be redirected to a page with your voucher and your receipt.

What information do I need in order to book?

The usual information that will help our driver to locate you, such as:

  • Flight’s number, Ship’s name, or pick up address.
  • Name of the Airport or port.
  • Your full name.
  • A telephone number with the country code.
  • Your e-mail.
I cannot find a route I want to book. What to do?

Although we update our destinations daily, maybe, you can’t find your starting point or destination. Just complete the online form in the section contact us, or send us an e-mail at info@minibusathens.gr

How do I pay for my transfer?

Our company – Minibus Athens Ltd, asks only a small payment in advance to avoid last minute cancelations or no-show situations. So, depending on your transfer you pay only 6 – 50 euros payment in advance, and you will pay the rest to your driver after the completion of your transfer or trip.

Can I book a transfer with more than one stop?

Yes. Just write your extra stop in the comments area during your booking. If the extra stop is in the same area or in your way, you will not have an extra charge. If your extra stop is in a different direction, we will notify you of the extra cost by e-mail.

Why should i book a vehicle online?

  1. Minivans and Minibuses in Greece are working only with appointment. There are not available minivan and minibus for hire in the street, at the port or the airports.
  2. The taxi drivers in Greece usually wait tourists to overcharge them or change bills like magicians! You can read more in our article about this matter.

Cancellation - Changes in Bookings

My flight is changed! Should i inform your company?

Absolutely, yes! If you don’t, your booking will be filed as “no-show” and you will lose your payment in advance!

Can i cancel my booking and get a refund?

No! You can postpone the date of your booking to any future date, change the type of vehicle or destination 24 hours before the scheduled date and change the time 2 hours before the scheduled time of your booking. But our system issues a receipt automatically for your payment, and we can not cancel a receipt.

I will be late to arrive to the hotel or to my apartment. Is there any surcharge?

Yes. Although we do not charge anything for flight’s and ship’s arrival delays, we charge the delays that are customers responsibility. If you think that you will be late for any reason, please contact us 2 hours before the scheduled time.

My ship is late! Must i inform your company?

No! we monitor your ship’s arrival electronically and our driver is always on time! Also, there are no surcharges for arrival delays. Calm down and enjoy your trip to the beautiful greek sea!

My flight is late! Must i inform you by call or e-mail?

No! We monitor your flight electronically and we are always on time! There are no surcharges in our company for flight’s and ship’s arrival delays. In Minibus Athens we know that this is not your responsibility. So, Calm, and enjoy your flight. No matter how many hours your flight is delayed, our driver will wait for you in the arrival hall of the airport.

My ship changed the last minute! Should i inform your company?

Yes! In any other case, your booking will be filed as “no-show” and you will lose your payment in advance.

Our driver will lose his time waiting in the ship that you firstly asked.

I didn’t put the correct flight number. Is this a problem?

It depends. If you made a misspelling in the flight number but we have your pick up city ex. Madrid or New York, our driver will find the right flight number. If you write an entirely wrong flight number, our driver will wait in the wrong arrival hall and probably your transfer will be filed as “no-show”.
